Mohamad Shaalan, MD - Board-Certified Internal Medicine
Dr. Mohamed Shaalan is a highly experienced internal medicine hospitalist and healthcare leader with over two decades of clinical and administrative expertise. He currently serves as the Director of Clinical Improvement and Performance at HNI Healthcare, where he focuses on optimizing patient outcomes and advancing care standards.
Dr. Shaalan earned his medical degree from Alexandria University in Egypt and completed his Internal Medicine residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, Connecticut, affiliated with Columbia University.
He has held various leadership roles, including Regional Medical Director for HNI Healthcare and Medical Director for IPC Hospitalist teams, demonstrating his commitment to healthcare excellence.
Throughout his career, Dr. Shaalan has consistently prioritized delivering patient-centered care and driving clinical innovation within hospital systems.
Driven by a deep passion for medicine and compassion for his patients, Dr. Shaalan is dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality care. Dalia Elramady, MD / MPH - Board-Certified Family Medicine
Dr. Dalia Elramady is a board-certified family medicine physician with a wealth of experience in primary care and medical leadership. She currently serves as Medical Director for multiple healthcare and rehabilitation facilities in Jacksonville, Florida, including Regents Park, Vicar’s Landing, and Westminster Woods.
Dr. Elramady earned her medical degree and Master’s in Public Health from the University of Alexandria in Egypt and completed her Family Medicine residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Jacksonville. She has also served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Health and Family Medicine at the University of Florida, showcasing her dedication to advancing medical knowledge and education.
With a passion for improving the well-being of her community, Dr. Elramady is known for her compassionate approach to patient care. She combines her extensive clinical expertise with a deep understanding of her patients’ needs, ensuring they receive personalized and holistic care.

Viral Acharya, MD - Board-Certified Internal Medicine
Dr. Viral Acharya is a board-certified internal medicine physician with over 15 years of experience providing exceptional care to patients in hospital and outpatient settings. He currently serves as the Regional Medical Director for HNI Healthcare in Florida, where he oversees clinical operations and leads teams dedicated to improving patient outcomes.
Dr. Acharya completed his residency in Internal Medicine at New York Methodist Hospital and earned his M.B.B.S. from Pramukhswami Medical College in India. He is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the Jacksonville, Florida, area, including Ascension St. Vincent campuses.
Dr. Acharya is committed to staying at the forefront of medical practice. Beyond his clinical expertise, he has contributed to community health initiatives, including HIV/AIDS awareness and tobacco cessation programs.
Fluent in English, Gujarati, and Hindi, Dr. Acharya is dedicated to serving diverse patient populations with compassion and care.
